Welcome to Chichester Priory Park C.C.
In 2010 Chichester Priory Park CC were awarded the National Chance to Shine Club of the Year.
Our club is 160 years old. There is a proud history of cricket being played in Priory Park and a particularly strong connection with the birth of test cricket. The ground is located within the ancient city walls.
The club has four senior Saturday Mens XI's and plays in the Sussex League and West Sussex Invitation League, where it regularly competes for honours.
We have a thriving junior section with 14 teams for ages from U8 to U18, all playing very competitively. On Monday evenings in excess of 80 junior members U10 attend coaching sessions run by our team of qualified coaches.
We run three girls teams at U11, U13 and U15 ages, and Women's XI.
As a club we have the following aims:
- Enjoyable cricket played in the spirit of the game for members of all ages.
- Provide opportunities for all members to develop & play cricket to the highest level.
- Provide facilities of the highest standard.
- Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for all members and visitors.
- Provide a link with the community, providing young people with the opportunity to flourish.
- Provide support for the future development of Sussex CCC
We are always delighted to welcome new members to our club to play for any one of our teams or just to participate in our thriving club.
